Members of the Institute are qualified to use their language skills in industry and commerce, education and other specialist fields

Code of Professional Conduct
Members are subject to the disciplinary procedures of the Institute governing professional conduct.

Recognition
Institute of Linguists' qualification are recognised in education, industry and professional life. The Institute is also an awarding body accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.
