The Institute of Linguists is the
only national and international body serving all professional
linguists. Founded in 1910, the Institute has given unique service
to languages for over 80 years. Members of the Institute are
qualified to use their language skills in industry and commerce,
education and other specialist fields
Code
of Professional Conduct
Members are subject to the disciplinary procedures of the
Institute governing professional conduct.
Recognition
Institute of Linguists' qualification
are recognised in education, industry and professional life. The
Institute is also an awarding body accredited by the
Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.
